Widget catalog
The catalog contains 119 modules. 96 are publishable today: 78 local implementations, three verified provider-hosted embeds (YouTube, Vimeo, and Meta Comments), and 15 explicit outbound-link hand-offs. The other 23 cards remain visible for planning but cannot create a widget.
- Social (17): native comments and flat guestbooks, structured Blog articles, RSS, social link cards with brand icons, profile links, sharing (including a ready Facebook Share Button), and an official Meta Comments Plugin embed.
- Reviews (15): publishable first-party Testimonials and source-separated All-in-One Reviews, plus disabled credentialed/provider-approved review sources governed by the provider policy registry.
- Video & audio (7): YouTube/Vimeo embeds, hosted audio/radio with playlist queues, a ready Podcast Player that plays HTTPS audio enclosures from a cached RSS/Atom feed, and managed-image hotspots with responsive coordinates and accessible details.
- Messaging (11): Messenger is the multi-app button suite (WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, SimpleX, Viber, LINE, Messenger, Instagram, SMS, phone, email) with style presets; single-app chat cards and call/SMS are starter presets of that suite. Link in Bio is a separate self-hosted profile card with a Media library avatar and closed safe-action policy.
- Forms (7): Form Builder is the full engine; contact, subscription, feedback, survey, and quote are starter presets with encrypted submissions; appointment booking is ready with weekly availability, capacity, and conflict checks.
- Commerce (9): publishable PayPal/checkout/location links, pricing cards, announcements, copyable coupons, curated sales notifications, and a searchable product catalog with price/SKU fields.
- Content & tools (43): local poll, calendar, event countdown, menu, consent, age gate, FAQ, gallery/logo lightbox, keyboard slider carousel, portfolio with filter chips, job board, a Board widget that browses published posts from a same-website board, semantic Comparison Table, searchable typed Data Table, Searchable Directory, CMS-backed Knowledge Base, accessible local SVG Charts, counter, banner, popup overlays, breadcrumbs, search, visitor count, business hours (open-now), timeline, QR, calculator, wheel, back-to-top, interactive Map / Store Locator (Leaflet + OpenStreetMap), PDF embed, PDF flipbook, Open-Meteo weather, keyboard-accessible Tabs, a native-disclosure Accordion, a client-side Table of Contents, and animated Skill Bars.
- Deferred integrations (10): AI/translation/stocks/accessibility-overlay claims and review sources without an authorized data path.
The catalog deliberately defers AI Chatbot, Translator, Stocks, and Accessibility Overlay. Review providers without a completed credential or provider-approved adapter remain disabled. Accessibility is a quality requirement for every native widget rather than an overlay product.
Each card has one readiness class. Creation is allowed only for ready, official_embed, and link_only:
| Readiness | Count | Create? | Meaning |
|---|---|---|---|
ready |
78 | yes | Verified local renderer and, where applicable, local interaction path. |
official_embed |
3 | yes | Verified provider-hosted embed (YouTube, Vimeo, or Meta Comments Plugin). |
link_only |
15 | yes | Renders an outbound customer/provider URL; it does not sync or embed provider content. |
preview |
0 | no | Reserved for incomplete card behavior; currently unused. |
credentials_required |
4 | no | An authorized connector may be implemented, but credentials, provider approval, or live verification are still required. |
approval_required |
15 | no | Provider approval plus a dedicated authorized adapter is required. |
deferred |
4 | no | Deliberately not implemented yet. |
The readiness assignment follows runtime behavior, not the card name. Social provider cards are currently link hand-offs, not provider feeds. Facebook Comments is an official Meta Comments Plugin iframe (provider_embed). Map and Store Locator are interactive OpenStreetMap embeds (Leaflet tiles, markers, zoom, layout presets, and directions) with outbound OSM fallbacks when the map library cannot load. File Embed stays a download-only hand-off. PDF Embed presents HTTPS PDFs inline with a download fallback; Flipbook adds page-by-page presentation (PDF.js) with the same fallback. Weather loads current conditions from Open-Meteo. Appointment booking validates slots against weekly hours, duration, capacity, and existing requests. Blog renders a structured article list (not a full CMS). All-in-One Reviews is ready for rights-confirmed first-party sources and keeps every source/native scale visibly separate; it does not make any provider connector ready. A credentialed review card remains non-creatable until its installation-specific credential, approval, and live-verification requirements are satisfied, even when its connector code is present.
Each publishable definition also exposes verified capability metadata through ModuleDefinition::supports(). Shared builder, appearance, and lifecycle capabilities identify modules that can be created. More specific capabilities identify discussions/moderation/participants/import-export/webhooks, encrypted form submissions/uploads, poll voting/results, consent records/policy versions/script gating, cached remote feeds, provider embeds, outbound links, native map embeds, native sharing, anonymous counters, JSON search, remote weather, and structured local content. Disabled definitions expose no operational capabilities. The integration manifest reports readiness and capability counts while retaining its older availability field for consumers that already use it.
Comments use the complete native discussion subsystem. Dedicated engines own form submissions, votes, consent records, daily anonymous counters, and cached RSS reads. Tests pin every readiness count and representative capability so adding a card or changing a renderer cannot silently inflate the publishable total.
